I should really buy a model train set now that I have my own money. I would of sold my kidneys to get one when I was younger and I should really honour that commitment.

Dunno if there’s craigslist where you are, but if you have a sharp eye, then you can pick up used train sets...or even full-sized layouts for pennies on the dollars the sellers spent to buy them. Otherwise, yard sales and flea markets are great places to find possibly good deals on them.
